Those of you who have missed more than two of our classes, please be advised that I am not entitled to give you the credit/zaliczenie at the end of semester.

If possible, please bring me a copy of a legal excuse (doctors’ etc) that you will be able to leave on file. Regardless of the reason for your absence make sure you contact me (e-mail) about the extra requirements for your credit.

Statistics, Nov 12 - the day before session 4Just a bit of trivia this time.

Please take a look at the trend of visits to this website – especially as it peaks on Friday just before the start of session 4 on Nov 13-14. Your mileage may vary but please make sure you give yourself ample time to think about, draft, write, edit and review your paper before you submit it.

Cheers!

AW2 assignment due session 4

Correct and edit your Session 1 and in-class writing session assignments (make sure you attach the hand written original version to the corrected – printed one)

Your assignment is based on the In-class witing session paper that was checked for you for session 3. Those of you who did not collect their papers will do the assignment for the next session.

This assignment applies only to students absent during AW2 in session 3 (those of you present have a similar one discussed during the individual feedback session)

AW1 assignment due session 4

Paraphrase the four texts so that all inversion and emphasis devices mentioned are used twice (mark relevant fragments by underlining them) – other than that make sure your texts are coherent and correct (apart from the obvious overuse of stylistic highlighting)

Only students absent during AW1 in session 3  are required to complete this assignment
